Family is the beating heart of Kailash Home, and the foundation that allows our children to flourish and succeed not only at every stage of their time with us, but also as they go out into their young adult lives. Seeing the intersection of these different factions of our wider Kailash family is an incredibly gratifying marker of success, and recently, we’ve been thrilled to witness a whole new era of Kailash Alumni involvement!
La família és el cor del Kailash Home, i allò que permet als nostres nens i nenes prosperar i tenir èxit, no només mentre estan al Kailash sinó també quan surten a viure la seva vida de joves adults. Aquest és un dels marcadors d’èxit més gratificants que podem tenir. I, recentment, hem estat molt orgullosos de poder presenciar la implicació dels antics alumnes del Kailash amb el que va ser la seva llar durant 15 anys.

“Els projectes impulsats pels antics alumnes del Kailash Home reflecteixen la passió per mantenir-nos connectats amb la família Kailash i retornar de l’ajuda rebuda. Tot i que tenim antics alumnes a tot el món, el Kailash sempre estarà al nostre cor, estiguem on estiguem. Esperem oferir als nous beneficiaris de la família que és el Kailash programes de desenvolupament d’habilitats per donar-los l’oportunitat d’interactuar amb el món exterior i d’aprendre, crear i desenvolupar coneixements”.
In recent months our active alumni group has been instrumental in organizing a number of activities for our current Kailash Kids, including a day picnic for children who remained on campus during the school holidays, a pottery lesson and a new pottery wheel for campus, a workshop at a local macramé shop, and the repainting of our outdoor campus walls.
En els darrers mesos, el nostre grup d’antics alumnes ha estat fonamental en l’organització d’una sèrie d’activitats per als nostres nens i nenes al Kailash, com ara un pícnic per als que es van quedar al campus durant les vacances escolars, una classe de ceràmica i un nou torn per practicar-la sense sortir del Kailash, un taller en una botiga local de macramé i el repintat de les parets exteriors del campus.
We know that in addition to the fun these experiences bring, our current children are also gaining immeasurable benefit from the relationships and mentorship our young alumni provide. We are so very proud of all of these young people and are grateful to them for their generosity of spirit and leadership toward their younger brothers and sisters.

Sabem que, a més de la diversió que ofereixen aquestes experiències, els nostres nens i nenes també estan obtenint un benefici immens en el seu intercanvi amb els antics alumnes.
