Family is the beating heart of Kailash Man, and the foundation that allows our children to flourish and succeed not only at every stage of their time with us, but also as they go out into their young adult lives. Seeing the intersection of these different factions of our wider Kailash family is an incredibly gratifying marker of success, and recently, we’ve been thrilled to witness a whole new era of Kailash Alumni involvement!
Family is the heart of the Kailash Home, and what enables our boys and girls to thrive and succeed, not only while at Kailash but also when they go out to live their lives as young adults. This is one of the most rewarding markers of success we can have. And recently, we have been very proud to witness the involvement of Kailash alumni with what was their home for 15 years.
“Kailash Alumni projects reflect the passion to stay connected with the Kailash family and give back. Although we have alumni all over the world in a variety of respective fields and careers, Kailash will always be in our hearts no matter where we go. We hope to provide our children with skill development programs…to give them the chance to interact with the outside world, and to learn, create, and develop expertise.”

“Alumni driven projects at Kailash Home reflect our passion to stay connected to the Kailash family and give back from the help received. Although we have alumni all over the world, Kailash will always be in our hearts, be we where we are. We look forward to providing the new beneficiaries of the Kailash family with skill development programs to give them the opportunity to interact with the outside world and learn, create and develop knowledge.”

In recent months our active alumni group has been instrumental in organizing a number of activities for our current Kailash Kids, including a day picnic for children who remained on campus during the school holidays, a pottery lesson and a new pottery wheel for campus, a workshop at a local macramé shop, and the repainting of our outdoor campus walls.

We know that in addition to the fun these experiences bring, our current children are also gaining immeasurable benefit from the relationships and mentorship our young alumni provide. We are so very proud of all of these young people and are grateful to them for their generosity of spirit and leadership towards their younger brothers and sisters.
