All children at Kailash Home are individually sponsored, building unique and lasting relationships with their sponsors. For just over five dollars a month, sponsorship allows us to provide housing, food, uniforms and clothing, education, medical care and extracurriculars to the boys and girls of Kailash Home.
Sponsor an infant at the Kailash Home
Most children arrive at Kailash at the age of 5 or 6 and stay with us until they finish high school in grade 12.
Our sponsorship program assigns a sponsor to each child who arrives at Kailash for a renewable period of 6 years. The cost of sponsorship is $2,000 per year.
Our main goal is to provide our boys and girls with a stable family environment in Kailash and a lasting personal relationship with their godparents.
Sponsors receive detailed reports of the child’s progress both at school and at Kailash Home, and dialogue between child and sponsor is actively encouraged through letters, emails or video calls, although there is nothing that can match the experience of visiting Nepal and meeting the children in person.
Sponsorship for higher studies.
After leaving Kailash Home after completing Grade 12, many of our students continue their education at university, vocational schools. Regardless of the path they choose, they often continue to need our help and your sponsorship. For less than $3,000 a year, the sponsorship covers college tuition, training programs or work placements, and books and other materials, depending on the student. Unlike the Kailash Home Sponsorship Program, Higher Education Sponsorship does not involve a minimum annual commitment, which makes for great flexibility for anyone who isn’t comfortable with a long-term commitment.
Our goal is to provide all our boys and girls in higher education opportunities so that they can also succeed once they leave the Kailash Home and find their place in society counting
with a solid background.
