It is officially one of our favorite times of the year. This is the season when we welcome a brand new set of children to Kailash Home and our MHF family! While in Nepal last month, our Director Ester Segura Lanao had the opportunity to personally greet our four new students and observed with great joy just how quickly they assimilated to life with the other children.

És oficialment un dels nostres moments preferits s de l’any. És l’època en la qual donem la benvinguda a un nou grup de nens al Kailash Home i a la nostra família MHF. Durant el mes passat al Nepal, la nostra directora Ester Segura Lanao va tenir l’oportunitat de saludar personalment els nostres quatre nous alumnes i va observar amb gran alegria la rapidesa amb què s’assimilaven a la vida amb els altres nens.

Where they seemed a bit tentative and shy on day one, just a few days later all four were happily chattering and playing with their new brothers and sisters. It is our great pleasure to introduce Sangey Phuntsok, Dechen Yangzom, Sameer Magar, and Ngawang Dolma to you today, and we know we will be seeing great things from these youngsters over the coming years! 

Mentre que el primer dia semblaven una mica tímids i reticents, pocs dies després els quatre estaven xerrant i jugant alegrement amb els seus nous germans i germanes. És un gran plaer presentar-los avui a Sangey Phuntsok, Dechen Yangzom, Sameer Magar i Ngawang Dolma, i sé que veurem grans assoliments d’aquests joves en els pròxims anys.

We also want to take this time to welcome and thank our new Sponsors for these four children (and all of our current Sponsors) as well. Individual sponsorship of each and every Kailash Kid has been our model from the beginning of Kailash, and we know that in addition to monetarily providing for the children, our Sponsors also serve as invaluable guides and mentors to these young people over the course of their adolescent years at Kailash.

També vull aprofitar aquest moment per a donar la benvinguda i agrair als nostres nous padrins d’aquests quatre nens (i a tots els nostres padrins actuals). L’apadrinament individual de tots i cadascun dels nens ha estat el nostre model des del començament de Kailash, i sé que a més de proveir monetàriament als nens, els nostres padrins també serveixen com a guies i mentors inestimables per a aquests joves en el transcurs dels seus anys d’adolescència.
