Fundada en 2020, la iniciativa Girl1 es el programa m\u00e1s novedoso del Kailash Home. Mediante eventos y talleres de creaci\u00f3n, educaci\u00f3n y di\u00e1logo abierto, Girl1 pretende impulsar el empoderamiento de los ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as del Kailash Home, con el objetivo de crear vidas pr\u00f3speras, basadas en la seguridad y la igualdad, no s\u00f3lo para los ni\u00f1os, sino tambi\u00e9n para sus familias y comunidades. Mientras que las mujeres y las ni\u00f1as representan a m\u00e1s de la mitad de la poblaci\u00f3n mundial, sus circunstancias en muchos lugares en todo el mundo todav\u00eda no son iguales a las de sus hom\u00f3logos masculinos. En Nepal, las mujeres y las ni\u00f1as son mucho menos propensas a ser receptoras de recursos tanto educativos como gubernamentales, y los tab\u00faes y las tradiciones de larga duraci\u00f3n a menudo las dejan en circunstancias desfavorables o incluso las ponen claramente en peligro.
